Chicken Smoothie

A simple pet collecting game that involves adopting pets and watching them grow up over the course of the month. I find it pretty satisfying checking in each day to slowly see what each pet turns into. There's a decent variety of species and a lot of the designs are really nice too.

My first Chicken Smoothie pet, Rosy. I feel as if your first pet dosen't matter in this game at all, as the way the game is typically played involves adopting as many pets as you can, but I thought there would be slightly more to it when I first joined the site, so I only adopted one initially. She's named that because the baby for this litter was pink.

Here are some pets from the current month that you can watch grow here! When they're done growing, I'll give my thoughts on each outcome.
(Note: I tend to use the random name function for my pets)

Dragon Cave

One of many games I found through forum signatures (especially on Chicken Smoothie). This is a click-based collecting/breeding game were you raise various species of dragons.

The one aspect of this game that kind of scares me is the fact that your dragons will die as eggs or children if they don't recieve enough clicks. It seems the threshold for clicks to grow up is rather low (at least from what I've seen), but it still feels like a lot of pressure, especially since I struggle to put myself out there on forums and such where they'd be seen. Luckily there are many "hatchery" click sites you can register your dragons in to help them grow without having to interact, but I'm a bit concerned if these even do much.

Magistream

Another click-based game similar to the one above but with a focus on a variety of real and mythical creatures. No death in this one, so you can take things at your own pace. There are also fansites for this one to let you farm clicks and recieve them, the main one being the Image-Free Magistream Nursery. I feel like I'm more likely to stick this one out (at least for a bit) just because it's less pressure.

Pokefarm

The clicker pet game I've spent the most time on. Hatch Pokemon eggs by clicking on them. Pokemon hatch over time, but the more clicks recieved the faster they will hatch. The game makes it very easy to click other users' eggs, and in turn recieve clicks yourself.

There are three types of special colours a Pokemon can have in Pokefarm. Of course there are shiny pokemon like in the main games, in which the odds are increased by hatching the same Pokemon in a chain when owning the PokeRadar, but there are also albino and melanistic Pokemon too.

Albino Pokemon have lighter colours and are able to be hatched by buying and powering up the Albino Radar with interaction points (points gained from clicking on other people's Pokemon). Melanistic Pokemon (often shortened to just melans) have darker colours and are what happens when a Pokemon is hatched as both shiny and albino. People often undergo long hunts in order to get melan Pokemon (myself included).

There are many activities to do on the site, like filling out the Pokedex, gardening, fishing, breeding, participating in contests, participating in tournaments, etc. So you can choose what aspects of the site you most want to prioritise and play your own way.

Unfortunatley, the way I play tends to involve me spending a lot of time on the game each day and hurting my wrists, lol (Mainly special hunting), so I only play in short bursts every couple of months.
